| The Grace Pamela Docherty Story Last updated: 17-05-2012 |
Three-year-old Grace Pamela Docherty was diagnosed with Leukaemia in 2011 and the Life For a Kid Foundation teamed up with one of our charity Patron's Lee Radford to organise two big boxing events.
The boxing events which featured boxers from amateur Rugby clubs in the City Of Hull raised a staggering £10,750 for Grace. The money is been used to support the family through this tough period with travel costs to and from the hospital and also support the parents to have time off work to support Grace. On 29th January 2012 Grace was mascot for the Lee Radford Testimonial Match between Hull FC and Bradford Bulls. Proud dad Michael Docherty watched grace run onto the pitch with the players. On the same day Grace's Mum and Friend Vicki Ceesay held a Fundraising Ladies night and raised £2,817 for Grace. Bringing the total to £13,567 donated so far to support Grace and the Family. ![]() |
